I was born and raised in Salamanca (Spain), where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2022, and a Master’s degree in Laser Physics and Technology in 2025. Following my Master’s, I was accepted as a PhD student at Sphere Ultrafast Photonics (Porto, Portugal) within the framework of the QU-ATTO European Doctoral Network. In this project, I will develop a device for the characterization and optimization of pulsed lasers emitting in the mid-infrared spectral region using the dispersion-scan technique (d-scan). When I am not programming in Python, reading papers, or working in the laboratory, I enjoy watching films and sports, working out, reading, and discovering new places to enjoy a walk, a meal or simply the views.
