Julijana Petkovic

My name is Julijana Petkovic, I am a PhD student at Max-Born-Institut, Berlin, Germany. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Serbia, at Faculty of Physics University of Belgrade, at study program Theoretical and Experimental Physics. During my Master studies focus of my work was on process of HHG in gases and finding ways to control high order harmonics spectral properties, only by changing parameters responsible for harmonics generation.

For my PhD I am studying how the quantum entanglement between ion and photoelectron, created in ionization processes, affect degree of coherence on which we rely on in pump-probe experiments, using attosecond pulses as both pump and probe. During this time, I am also learning and working on improving existing spectrometric imaging methods and adapting them for experiments of our interests.
