Tommaso Mancini

My name is Tommaso Mancini, I am a PhD student at the department of Atomic Physics at Lund University within QU-ATTO doctoral network. I am working on ultrafast ionization experiments using the free electron laser, participating in several beamtimes at FERMI in Trieste. I am leading the analysis of experiments investigating how ionized electrons can further absorb or emit laser photons.

I have obtained both bachelor and master degree in theoretical physics from University of Rome La Sapienza and my master thesis project focused on the understanding of the anomalous behavior of the thermoelastic response in experiment of EUV Transient Grating at FERMI free electron laser.
