Gopika comes from the southern part of India and completed a five-year Integrated Master’s degree in Physics. She carried out her Master’s dissertation at IIT Bombay, focusing on high harmonic generation in two-dimensional materials using amplitude-polarised pulses. Following her graduation, she continued working with the same research group as a Research Assistant for one year, contributing to projects in ultrafast valleytronics. In 2025, she joined Giuseppe Sansone’s group at the University of Freiburg to pursue her doctoral studies.
